Use the numbers, shapes, and open space on the board to narrow each move.
Numbers define the target area
Each numbered clue belongs to one rectangular area. Compare the number with the available width and height around it before drawing a long block.
Eliminate impossible shapes
If a possible rectangle would overlap another completed area or leave an unreachable cell, it cannot be the answer. Remove it and reassess the smaller set of options.
